Denise Hinds, Associate Executive Director for Foster Care, Juvenile Justice, and Supportive Housing at Good Shepherd Services in New York City directs programming for vulnerable young people ages 12-25, which currently includes residential programs for young adults aging out of foster care, homeless or at risk of being homeless. Her presentation will discuss these programs and services, and highlight the Chelsea Foyer, an innovative youth development, and trauma-informed supporting housing model.
